Love Notes and Flowers.

Photobucket
Photobucket
It's amazing what support can do for a person.
I came home to these last night.
And see that little pink mailbox?
When the flag is up,
it means there's a little love note inside.
I always get so excited when that flag is raised.
Because I know it means husband has left me a surprise.
Last night, his love note was just what I needed
to keep up my motivation.
I'm tellin ya. When we support eachother,
SO MUCH MORE can get accomplished.
Go out of your way today to tell someone you appreciate them.
And thank you, Mike,
for always making sure that I know you do.

that might be the sweetest idea I have ever seen.

I bet seeing it sitting there everyday doesn't hurt in reminding you guys to say "hey I love you today and here is why."

Someone please remind me of this when I am no longer a resident of single-ville : )

That's so sweet that you guys do that! I get sweet texts from hubby all the time, BUT there's just something special about a real note:-)

And I do see what you are saying. Without the support of my hubby, I don't know what I would do. I am so excited about the Shine Project!

How adorable. I wrote my fionce a long love note out of the blue the other day. I told him all the reasons why I love him so much. Sometimes it's easier to write in a letter then say outloud. It's hard for me to form the words sometimes. And I completely agree about being supported. It's amazing what a difference it makes knowing that someone believes in you. You are fabulous, my friend!

That is adorable. It gets right back to what I love about "old times" lovers....the handwritten mailed love letters.
Can he write a man blog to all the other boys out there? I would love this!

Hey, thanks for checking out my blog! I love reading yours, it truly is inspirational! So I was reading about how you ran a half marathon last month. Congratulations, that's awesome! I'm actually training for one that will take place at the end of April. I have the same goal as you did, to run the entire thing without walking at all. So I was wondering, do you have any tips, tricks, or advice you're willing to share? :) I'm completely new to this (this is my first race ever) so any piece of advice will help! Thanks!

My husband and I have that same mail box. I mod podged some scrap book paper on it. We leave love notes and little treats like "good for on 15minute back rub"... it really makes our day when that little flag is up!
