Saturday.

This weekend was just perfect. It's not often that I don't have an event over the weekend, or that I'm in town... so we took advantage of the time we had together.

The kids had their first lemonade stand on Saturday. It was so funny to see them sell it. They've been waiting for a couple of weeks for this (of course last week when we were supposed to have it was the only day it rained in Phoenix all year, haha). When people would walk up to our garage sale, Shiloh would say, "Are you thirsty?" Whether they responded yes or no didn't matter, he'd tell them he had yummy lemonade for free, and was just expecting tips. I think he was trying to say that he was accepting tips... but it was too funny to correct him.

The kids have been loving the YMCA  lately, so we went and played over there after they went and bought toys with their lemonade stand money. We're moving right in the middle of all the YMCA sporting leagues, so I can't wait until we're all settled into a new home in the next couple of months and the kids can get back to playing sports. I'm thinking I want to teach one of their teams... haha... I think it would be so much fun. My dad was always my coach growing up, but I don't know if I will be able to control a team full of 5 and 7 year olds. We'll see if Mike or my dad will tag team it with me.

I've been wanting to go paddle boating for the past year, ever since we moved downtown, so we finally did it this weekend. Zoe and I basically started crying when a duck and a goose were chasing our paddle boat around the lake, so we ended the party a little bit early.

We're finally officially putting our house up for sale this week.
I'm sad, but also really excited. When we moved to downtown Phoenix it was just Mike and I.
Kids have changed everything. The older I get, the more my priorities change, and I would do anything to make sure these two have the best things in their lives that I can possibly give them.
So as much FUN as it is living smack in the middle of the city... I know its time for a change.

Hope you had a great weekend!
