I read your blog daily, and am always inspired by the positivity and inspiration I find here. I have to admit that this is my first comment, and I sincerely hope that you don't take it the wrong way. My first thought while reading this list was "poor men." So many of the things on your list (bubble baths, getaway girls trips, showing public emotion, in general taking personal time for yourself) are necessary to the well-being of a person - ANY person, man or woman. I don't know about bubble baths specifically, but taking that personal time to reflect and take care of yourself (physically and mentally) should be just as important for a man as a woman. And I think that as a society we tend to think that this personal time is somehow more important for a woman than a man.

Your number two reason is about breaking typical stereotypes, but unfortunately I found that this list reinforced just as many stereotypes as you break in every other post. I don't mean to be rude, just hoping to start an honest discussion. I'd be interested to read your husband's list about why it's awesome to be a man.

P.S. All that being said, I do totally enjoy a girl's night out!

I ordered this dress from Argentina, and got it in exactly one month! It was supposed to be delivered between 2 to 3 months and when the bell rang yesterday I was really surprised!

This is pretty disappointing actually.

No one asks you to help them move? Probably because they know you would make up an excuse to say no. MY friends ask ME, not my husband. I am not a wall flower incapable of manual labor.

Since when is changing hair color a female-only luxury? On that note, can men not take bubble baths?

Why should a good man have to pay for your dinner?

I could list a comment on just about every one of you bullets. This post seems to encourage misandry and bad stereotypes.
