Who My Readers ARE.

I seriously LOVE posting the re-cap each week
for the weekly challenge.
Once again,
you all did some pretty amazing things!
I LOVE learning about you,
and what you're accomplishing.
You inspire me.
The challenge this week was to make an "I AM" poster,
and take your goal to the next level.
Here's what some of you did.

Dear Ashley,
I absolutely adore your blog.
It’s so motivational and positive.
This statement may seem really weird at first...but I am a lover.
A lover of my life.
About a year ago, I kind of lost myself and my lust for life. I was living away from home and going to school. I felt like I didn’t know what I wanted anymore and I was frustrated with a lot of aspects in my life and I felt as though I wasn’t making any progress.
Slowly but surely, I got out of that rut as I spent time with my family, I declared my major to be Speech and Hearing Science and I started to love myself for who I am. It’s so important to find the things you love in life and to hold onto them,
but continue to find more things about life to love.
Thanks for your challenge and making me think about who I AM.
Love,
Catherine

Ever since I was a little girl I dreamed of becoming a writer. Since I was 9 years old I have kept a personal journal. I have bins upon bins of my inner-most thoughts safely kept away in tons of journals. When I was 12 I started writing novels and completed around four. I even started a cute series for young adults! As I entered college I began writing more poetry and screenplays. I love the written word. I love the power that words can exude. However, I haven't been very good at sharing my talent :( My new goal is to start sharing what I create, whether it be a small or big project. I need to have more confidence in myself, and that includes what I write! Thanks for the inspiration girl!

Here's my poster for the I AM challenge.
I tend to be a homebody but I want to start taking advantage of life and opportunities to experience new adventures. Nature is beautiful and I live in a great location for hikes, climbing mountains, biking, and canoeing. My goal is to start experiencing the outdoors in a new way. In the past month I've been out every weekend studying geology in the local region but I hope to continue this once the weekend trips stop. I'm ready to feel the sun on my skin and say hello to mother nature. I am an adventurer!

Ashley,
I've always loved to write and to create. I too, have had dreams my whole life of publishing a book, or a song...something produced from my hands and my heart.I've chosen some of my songs, recorded them, and sent them to producers in the past only to be turned down on numerous occasions. After hearing all the "NOs" I put my dream aside for a while to focus on my family...easy to do when you have children - they should ALWAYS come first. But I know how important my dreams still are...I might be a mother, but I am still a girl, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a woman, and a dreamer.
I'm sending in 2 of my songs this month to a competition and putting myself out there again. Love, Heather
squeezing it all in...
(ps: this woman has some GREAT DIY!)

Woooweee! I'm feeling good!
In your comments to this post,
think of your innermost dream,
and answer the question,
"Who ARE you?"

Love what people said! And I love your blog! Just found it the other day, and I love your message! I think it's really important to show people that they are awesome, and I love your slogan 'Shine'.
Who am I...I don't think I really know yet! I'm always figuring it out! I don't think I could define myself with one word. And if I could, I'm not sure what that one word will be!

What a fantastic idea!

For a long time, I have been a dreamer. I can say for sure, "I am a dreamer."

But recently, I've really tried hard to become a DOER. There's this fantastic quote that says, "The world needs dreamers and the world needs doers. But above all, the world needs dreamers who do. ~Sarah Breathnach" I'm still working on solidifying my "doing" enough to actually say "I am a doer." But I'm well on my way. :)

And then hopefully one day, I can say "I am a dreamer who DOES."
