Yesterday was my brother's 17th birthday.
Which meant a sushi feast extraordinaire.
When REALLY meant that I was in HEAVEN.
We ordered FOURTEEN HUGE rolls.
Something that you need to know about my fam
if you are ever over for dinner
is that we eat faster than anyone you've ever met.
It's as if the world is revolving around how fast
we consume our troughs of food.
Hubby eats 95% faster now than he did before we were "we".
The whole situation is embarrassing, really.
We were done with our sushi in maybe 10 seconds.
Our waiter came back in SHOCK and said,
"Ummm do you want more?"
Then gave the biggest smirk ever,
making it clear that we are pigs.
Whatever, at least I got a Vegas Roll.
The REAL highlight of the night was the successful convincing
to husband that I need TOMS.
He said I've been working hard, so I could get them
So, the shopping trip began
and I came out the victor.
I felt justified in my purchase knowing that some cute
kiddo in Africa will have new kicks on
their feet too.
For those of you who don't know,
when you buy a pair of TOMS,
they give a pair away!
I NEED YOUR "I AM" POSTERS!!!
EMAIL THEM BY TOMORROW MORNING!

We eat Sushi out at Sushi Broker in Scottsdale. It's Terrific and they have a GReAT happy hour price on things! Have a great weekend!
oh my good gosh sushi....my husband and i have been DYING for some sushi and have yet to find a decent spot in europe....ugh the cravings are getting serious.

Sushi Birthday dinners and TOMS... amazing Friday! I love my TOMS couldn't live without them. So much so that I think I need a new pair for this summer.

oh man... on valentine's day, we double dated and my girlfriend and I ate nearly 8 rolls between us! I could live off sushi! haha Yay for the TOMS- I need to pick myself up a pair. In red. :) Happy weekend!

I'm just substitute teaching right now, and it's no where near as exhausting as a real teaching job is (or my student teaching was, for that matter) but it is a little difficult to fall in love with students and then say goodbye every other day...

Connie- i know, isnt his jacket rad!? Its actually his letterman's jacket, and the CTR thing is a patch he added on. such a stud haha.
btw. I have had that roll. at that resturaunt. for all we know we could of been there on the same day. same time. walked passed each other. maybe even sat near each other...
so close. yet so far.

Thanks to this post, I am having a major Sushi craving AND I miss Hawaii....because you can't get better sushi than in Hawaii! Living there for two years was pure bliss! Well....outside of the five weeks I lived in that hospital ;-)
