Super Bowl Sunday- An Excuse for These

Photobucket
1.Frost a cooled cupcake (baked from your favorite recipe) with green frosting, then mark the yard lines with white decorators' gel.
2.For a pennant, wrap a fruit leather triangle around a pretzel stick and plant it in the field as shown.
3.Set a chocolate-covered almond or brown almond M&M football topped with white decorators' gel laces on the field, and you're sure to score points with your favorite sports fans

I seriously have been dying to make these...
The Packers are in the Superbowl this year,
which means my mom will be wearing her
cheese head while screaming annoyingly for three hours.
Grandpa (who lives in WI) will be calling every 10 minutes
to discuss play calls,
while the rest of us make fun of mom
and ask her to name one single player.
She loves Brett Farve, (that's the only answer she'll be able to give)
so for some reason, thinks that the Packers are still her team,
even though he hasn't played for them for years?

Gotta love it.
Any Super Bowl recipes to pass on?

ohmyGod, I don't think I am capable of making something as cute, awesome, and delicious as this. I might show this picture and recipe to Mr. A and demand for him to replicate it.
This might make watching 5 hours of football a bit easier to endure.

You had me at cupcake! I always get so excited for the super bowl but this year I don't have a connection to either team so I'm kind of on the fence about who to cheer for. Strangely enough I am obsessed with sports and am the ultimate girly girl at the same time, weird much? Thank you for the comment on my blog. You are presh!

oh fruit leather! at first the flag looked like bacon. :) what a fun idea! my entire family is from wisconsin {i was born there too} so even though the packers aren't my #1 team, i'm pretty psyched.

Cute. I made an entire cake like a football field with little teddy grahams as the fb players. It was so fun to make and give to my cousin for his bday (because he's a fb player himself haha). :)

This reminds me of the Dallas Cheerleaders show when the evil lady asks the new girls to name players...and they're like, "Umm."

Love cupcakes, even green ones. I'm all in.
